Mindful March
This month at the Happiness Hub, we'll be encouraging you to be aware, take notice and be mindful!
Mindfulness can help us stay calm and respond wisely, especially in difficult times.
This month at The Happiness Hub, find ways to live each day with awareness and kindness. Studies show the practice of mindfulness can reduce stress levels, help us manage our emotions and reactions, tune in better to how we and others are feeling and cultivate compassion for ourselves and others. This helps us make wiser choices, can boost our relationships and mean we feel happier and calmer. It can have benefits in school and in the workplace too.

Individually, we vary in our natural levels of mindfulness, but everyone can learn to be more mindful and there are lots of ways we can incorporate it into our daily lives. It's simple but takes practice. Think of it as training for your brain!
Take some time to enjoy the moment and the environment around you. Here are a few ideas:
Get a plant for your workspace
Have a ‘clear the clutter' day
Take notice of how your colleagues are feeling or acting
Take a different route on your journey to or from work
Visit a new place for lunch
Here's how you can get involved and make a difference:
