5 Ways to Wellbeing - Giving
This month at the Happiness Hub we thought the well-being theme of 'Giving' would be very apt leading up to Christmas.
Giving doesn't have to be costly and take the form of an expensive present, giving someone some help, your time and a friendly ear can mean so much more and also make you feel rather good too.
Our December calendar below gives you a few more ideas on how you can give to yourself and others during the festive season.
When we give to others it activates the areas of the brain associated with pleasure, social connection and trust and makes us HAPPY!!!!
Altruistic behaviour releases endorphins in the brain and boosts happiness for us as well as the people we help.
