5 Ways to Well-being - Be Active

Updated: Nov 3, 2021

Keeping active is a great way to boost our mental well-being.

So this month at the Happiness Hub we're encouraging everyone to get moving and get outdoors as much as possible. (weather permitting... although what's the saying? There is no bad weather only bad clothing) and I know going for a walk or running in the rain can be enjoyable too!

Whatever your circumstances or physical limitations, you can find your own ways to be a bit more active. You don't need to run marathons or go to the gym every day - there are simple things we can all do to take care of our bodies, like unplugging from technology, reconnecting with nature and getting more sleep!

Here's how you can get involved and make a difference:

This month's theme is based on Exercising: Be Active from the 5 Ways to Wellbeing >> Find out more about the 5 Ways to Wellbeing.

Beckie told us about how being active helps our body and mind and we asked her a few tips on how to get started if you're thinking about getting active.

Beckie has been in the fitness industry for over five years but decided to take the plunge going 'full-time fitness' when the pandemic hit.

How are you going to be active this month?
